This book talks to the reader. It refers to there being someone in your life who guides you and supports you and that one day it will be your turn to do the same. This parallels the way Doc mentored Mcqueen and now Mcqueen is mentoring Cruz. It's a touching positive message and my son loves it. However if you are looking for a traditional story line this may not be the book for you.
Such a cute book! Very fun to read! It matches in size to the 'Finding Dory' book called 'Three Little Words', and they sit together on the bookcase.
Buyers should note that this book is not an abbreviated version of the movie, but instead more a book of broad general life lessons set in the Cars 3 world. The artwork is excellent and the book is worth buying for that reason alone.

Pictures are nice, but the actual book is terrible. Just short phrases. No story what so ever. Got this since it's the first Cars 3 book available, better to wait until May for the rest.
While the pictures are cute, this is not a story about Lightning McQueen. It's just a book of inspirational quotes. My 4 yo didn't like it. Returned for a refund.
This story is very cute. My 5 year old loved it and it is our go-to book of the week. A sweet book with a sweet message.
My children love this book. The illustrations are full of captivating detail which they haven't tired of poring over. The pearls of wisdom on each page are so cleverly depicted and the beautiful detail makes each page outstanding enough to be framed and on display!
