This is not only a very practical book but also one that is digestible. Liz Curtis Higgs has a conversational way of writing that makes you forget that you are reading and you feel instead as if you are talking with a good friend who understand your blunders and sees your desire to get it right. I really like the way it is written in little bites for the concepts are huge. Also the practical application and prayer at the end of each section is welcome and fitting.
Liz always gives deep insight in her writing and this book is no exception; she is a student of words: how they are put together, their original meaning, their context. Because of this, Every scripture has a rich meaning that she applies to our everyday life!
Once again Lizzie has written a book that speaks right to the heart. Her method of writing, taking each Proverb phrase by phrase and explaining meanings and then pointing out applications, is a familiar but encouraging method.
